Charity organizations are the sole hosts of bingo play in the state of Michigan. With over 300 bingo halls statewide, play can be found in many locations. There are partner facilities that host a myriad of charities as well as those who have their own building. North Gratiot Bingo Hall in Chesterfield Township, Michigan, is an example of a partner facility. They have non-profits including school organizations and a police fraternity that schedule regular games to raise funds and awareness.

There are four casinos in the state that have bingo games. Island Resort & Casino in Wilson, Michigan, has games nightly starting at 7:00pm. While Ojibwa Casino in Baraga, Michigan, offer bingo four days per week starting at 4:45pm.



Cities With the Most Bingo Halls

The city of Flint, Michigan, is the leader with eight bingo halls. Grand Rapids, Michigan, follows with seven. Cities including Bay City, Muskegon, and Saginaw, Michigan, each have six bingo halls. Battle Creek, Jackson, and Livonia, Michigan, have five. Indian River, Taylor, and Lansing, Michigan, come in with four each. The bingo halls in Lansing MI, consist of three partner facilities and one school, which is located at the Lansing Catholic High School. However, most cities have an at least one bingo hall. With the plethora of charities taking part in the bingo business, play is abundant throughout the state.



Types of Hosting Organizations

School organizations outnumber churches as the leader in bingo action. Proceeds are used to sponsor such groups as baseball and hockey teams as well as cheerleading squads. Green Acres Bingo Hall in Warren, Michigan, offers its facilities to the Democratic Party of Michigan every night except Wednesdays. Knights of Columbus and American Legions top the list of service organizations followed by veteran organizations including VFWs and AmVets who offer regular schedules for games. Senior centers also make the list with Ann Arbor Senior Citizens, in Alpena, Michigan, hosting games on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays after 6:30pm.



Days and Hours of Play

The American Legion in Battle Creek, Michigan, host games seven days per week starting after 6:00pm. In addition, there are many bingo hall facilities such as Southland Hall at the Cedar Park Shopping Center in Holt, Michigan, that also has play every day. There are enough options in the state to find play on any day with early birds, matinee and late starts. An example is Kewadin Casino in Manistique, Michigan, with play starting at 10:00am every Monday through Thursday.

There are several bingo halls in the state that have earned the distinction of providing players hot action.
