Bingo Halls

Charity organizations are the sole hosts of bingo play in the state of Michigan. With over 300 bingo halls statewide, play can be found in many locations. There are partner facilities that host a myriad of charities as well as those who have their own building. North Gratiot Bingo Hall in Chesterfield Township, Michigan, is an example of a partner facility. In 2005, the Minnesota legislature made it easier for the game of bingo. This translated into an explosion of bingo halls across the state in over 70 counties. The new laws allow providers to offer unlimited game play to patrons. The only restriction is an eight hour limit per session. Kim Pietrzak, a 46-year-old woman from Fairelm Lane, was accused of stealing almost $50,000 worth of bingo money from the Resurrection Parish of Cheektowaga last November.
